In this 45-minute Movement Medicine taster session, we will be diving into why dancing has the potential to profoundly affect our experience of life, and positively change the way we move through the world.
There will be a short talk followed by a short practice. We will look at why dancing benefits your body, heart, brain and soul! We will explore why engaging in movement as medicine is a way of becoming deeply connected with that part of us that knows itself as the unbroken, moving intelligence of life, and why this connection can become a powerful resource in times of challenge.
The last 15 minutes will offer an opportunity to ask questions. Participants must sign up for the zoom to access the event.
